We were appointed by the mechanical contractor and worked alongside the  M&E Consulting Engineers to develop the performance specification for construction purposes. Ultimately, 2no. Daikin VRV IV heat recovery air conditioning systems were selected to provide heating and cooling via 28no. cassette units to all occupied rooms and spaces. In addition, 2no. split air conditioning systems were provided within the server room and 5no. VAM type heat recovery ventilation units were installed, providing fresh and extract air to all occupied areas.

All services are exposed within the open plan areas, therefore careful coordination and planning was required with all other trades to ensure a high quality installation.

The completed installation is operated by an I-Touch Manager central controller, which in turn is in connected to the hospital Building Management System for remote operation and monitoring.
